- 1. I used to be a chef, but I couldn’t pronounce Worcestershire sauce, so I just hoped someone else would order it when needed.
- 2. When I first heard about pole, I thought it was another silly fashion thing, and I would never do it… Ooops.
- 3. I always said I would never teach anything ever…. another Ooops.
1. What is your day job?
Sports massage therapist and full-time University student.
2. What made you get into pole?
Randomly, I was looking for something dance-related and a bit more complex, to fill the void left by my youth sport (baton twirling), and to satisfy my wish for a lifelong activity that would keep me going.
3. What do you enjoy most about pole?
The atmosphere is truly amazing, no matter how differently we see or practice pole, everyone is so supportive and encouraging.
4. What is your favourite part about teaching?
Seeing the progression and the happiness. Experiencing as a group of individuals who have just met applaud each other’s success, cheer for attempts, and work together to become better than they were yesterday
5. What is your nemesis pole move?
Definitely handstand.
6. What is your 2026 pole goal?
Do a whole choreograph together for a chosen song, from beginning to end.
7. What is your favourite element of pole?
The creativity and diversity of it. Also, I love drops

October 2023
9. Who is your pole idol?
I don’t have one, but I admire so many polers.
